Light Roast Coffee

Light roast coffees tend to have less of the “fire” or “cooked” flavour from the roasting process, and maintain more of the inherent sweetness and natural flavour notes present in the bean. When a coffee is light-roasted (as opposed to dark-roasted) it tends to have a slightly higher acidity and a slightly lower body; and lighter roasts contain slightly more caffeine than darker roasts.
